The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School and UMass Memorial Health is seeking a full-time integrated primary care psychologist to join the faculty at Barre Family Heath Center in Barre, Massachusetts. Barre Family Health Center is a free standing primary care practice and a UMass Family Medicine residency teaching site.

UMass Memorial Health is nationally recognized for its clinical and teaching programs devoted to the integration of behavioral health and primary care. Our Behavioral Health Faculty have both direct patient care and teaching responsibilities. This position will be 80% clinical work and 20% residency teaching and fellowship supervision/leadership. Clinical care is provided to patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults and families. There is collaboration with residents and other members of the primary care team. Direct teaching includes supervision of post-doctoral trainees, practicum students, family medicine residents, and other learners.

Qualified candidates must have a Doctorate in psychology (PhD or PsyD) and 1-5 years experience in primary care psychology and/or medical education. License or license-eligibility by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Psychologists is required.

This position will include a faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and total compensation package, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
