This is a starting out as a contract position running through April 2023 with strong potential to extend longer or convert to FTE. Will be part of a highly motivated and skilled MERN Stack Team that manages central tooling and maintenance of the technology stack.

This resource must have Strong React. Material UI, Typescript skills - Webpack, rollup, Redux for Boilerplate development and support. We are looking for someone who loves cutting edge technologies, micro-front-end concepts and reusable UI libraries. The ability to plan and upgrade existing projects to the target boiler plate and understand and resolve conflicting dependencies will be key.

This person will be part of an highly skilled team that develops UI boilerplate code and other frameworks utilized across projects of the organization. The core platform includes best-in-class CRM with responsive and seamless UI that serves 4000 plus individual's with 24x7 uptime. This Agile team leads in the creation of best-in-class frameworks and reusable tools for the organization and is a treat to work in.

The team also manages Microservices that are utilized by the organization. In addition to Mongo, Postgres the teams utilize Elastic and REDIS skills to enhance sub-second faceted searches. Microservices integrate data from across the enterprise and telephony systems in real-time. Monitors are built out in Splunk and Dynatrace. CICD code pipeline in Jenkins includes security scanners and deployment to OpenShift. Motivated individuals will participate in moving the application to OpenShift / Cloud Platform.

The candidate will engage in all phases of the software development (UI) lifecycle which include: gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models. Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
• Proficiency using React, Material, TypeScript, Webpack, rollup, Redux, boilerplate ;
• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
o Database knowledge in Mongo DB ; REDIS and Jenkins is a plus - but not required.
• Experience with modern web/UI development tools and techniques: GIT, Axios, CSS
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
• Experience with responsive grid systems

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
5-8 years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
Relevant Development certifications
