Purpose of the Position:
The Principal Research Scientist IV will provide subject matter expertise in Demand Planning (DP) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) data within the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) on secondary items negatively impacting Missile (MSL) stock availability.

- Provide subject matter expertise in Demand Planning (DP) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) data within the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) on secondary items negatively impacting Missile (MSL) stock availability.
- Review LMP-generated supply recommendations in comparison to supply actions taken to identify any gaps.
- Provide task management to ensure all deliverables are met.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D. or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5.5 years of full-time work experience (to include 5 years in senior logistics management on military programs).
- 25 years in Army supply chain management.
- Expertise in LMP and Condition-Based Maintenance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Science, Engineering, or Business.
- 6 years of full-time work experience.
- 8 years as a senior in logistics management on military programs.
- 28 years in Army supply chain management.
