Job description
Make your mark on advanced vehicle design.
Change the trajectory of flight.
Wake up the globe...

Who We Are:
We are a hypersonic transportation startup focused on doing what people once thought was
impossible. We are a tech haven for engineers with vision who want more than just a job. And,
we have a place for you if you want to design space flight vehicles that transform how people
and nations connect.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Engineer a space plane.
You’ll be an ace on our advanced space vehicle design team — our expert in thermal analysis
and design. You’ll simulate the impact of external heat loads on the vehicle skin and internal
structures and design innovative solutions to mitigate those results.

Learn. Test. Share.
 You’ll have access to, learn, and use an array of thermal analysis tools to understand and project every
aspect of vehicle design and performance.
 You’ll satisfy your endless curiosity by designing and conducting lots of tests and simulations.
 And you’ll do cool, hands-on stuff like running experimental test campaigns, both internal and in
collaboration with universities and other test facilities.
 We’ll rely on you to share all that discovery with the team to guide the design of one or more vehicles.

Play in the Pro Bowl.
 You’ll bring your extensive experience and accomplishments to strengthen the team and help propel us
forward.
 You’ll be part of an accomplished, exceptional team that started as world-class and is driven to go
higher.
 You’ll be surrounded by a company and leaders who understand your skills, appreciate your talent, and
don’t mind saying so.
 With people like this, we have a lot of pride — so yes, our team suits up in official Venus Aerospace gear
for special events.

Get bragging rights.
There’s a lot of confidentiality here, but you can tell your friends and family that you’re
changing the world. Our spaceplane will take people anywhere in the world in an hour. Lunch
meeting in Rome. Afternoon meeting in Tokyo. Home for dinner. And, yeah, making that
happen is your real day job.

  • An obsession with testing and applying test data to formulate design.

  • Expertise in a variety of heat transfer and thermal transport areas.
  • Skill at collaborating with fellow engineering geniuses. And you enjoy it.
  • Experienced judgment balancing caution and urgency.

  • A grasp of design that can drive (or is missing in) commercial travel.
  • Intellectual breadth to make connections between the work you do and its place in the world around us.
Benefits:
