HIRING IMMEDIATELY: PRINTING PRESS OPERATOR IN HUNTLEY, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Printing Press Operator to join our client in Huntley, IL. This individual will be responsible for operating printing presses to execute orders and produce printed products. The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of press adjustments and at least 1 year of experience working on color printing press machinery. Apply online and kick start your career today!

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $17/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
• Monday through Friday, 2nd shift: 3 pm to 11 pm
• Located in Huntley, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read job orders and mount plates
• Understanding of UV inks and systems
• Clean plates, cylinders, and ink sumps and lubricate presses as needed
• Mix inks as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule
• Retrieving raw material from inventory if needed and taking finished rolls to the WIP (Work In Process) staging areas
• Loading rolls onto the unwind and unloading rolls from the rewind
• Clean and change anilox rolls
• Change doctor blades, ink sumps, print cylinders, and other press components; maintain inks as needed
• Mount / demount plates; knowledge of sticky back requirements would be a plus
• Set print impressions, check gauging of cylinders, webbing various press components

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experienced printing up to 10 Color Front, some Backside, or Both
• Knowledge of color process work
• Able to execute a splice at unwind and rewind – especially on roll-to-roll presses
• Knowledge of basic press adjustments, such as adjust speed, tension and alignment
• Must pass color acuity test
• 4 color process work: 1 year
• Printing up to 10 Color Front: 1 year
• Printing Press Operator: 3 years
