Job description
A rubber manufacturer is looking for a Process Engineer to help develop and streamline manufacturing processes on first shift at their Laconia, NH facility. This is a great direct-hire role at a company with a friendly, team-based environment.
Responsibilities of the Process Engineer
- Design molds and auxiliary equipment for manufacturing
- Manage test lab schedule, set up and implement tests, and provide processing assistance
- Plan and formulate engineering projects
- Direct and coordinate tooling fabrication activities with in-house tool room and outside machine shops to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications
- Produce working drawings of tooling and customer products; evaluate and perform design changes to drawings
- Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair activities for optimum utilization of molds and auxiliary equipment
- Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Process Engineer
- BS in Engineering or equivalent in degree; rubber processing and/or manufacturing experience may be used in lieu of college diploma
- CAD experience is required
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills
