Job brief

The EIS Compliance/Governance Analyst will be responsible to assist process owners with identifying improvements of their operational processes. The ideal candidate will serve as a consultant for EIS Compliance/Governance team and have strong facilitation skills to elicit and document business processes. This role will meet with a wide range of Process Owners, facilitate process reviews, document and update business processes.

Business Analyst responsibilities include:

  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to meet business goals.
  • Lead process assessment and process improvement meetings.
  • Assist in planning and executing process improvement projects.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
  • Assist in developing process improvement to policies, standards, and controls.
  • Optimize or redesign process flows to meet project requirements.
  • Maintain and update all process related documents for reference purposes.
  • Train resources in process improvement techniques.
  • Monitor process performance and improvements in key metrics.
  • Work with management to define the short-term and long-term objectives and potential gains.
  • Assist in the security framework control scoping, evidence collection, control testing and corrective action planning collaboratively across business entities
  • Maintain a consistent and organized approach to tracking compliance requirements within the enterprise GRC technology solution
  • Develop and track mitigation plan status with control owners cross-functionally
  • Develop necessary reports and presentations collaboratively
  • Perform ongoing analysis and monitoring of critical the security framework requirements to detect potential issues with compliance
  • Provide support and guidance to team when needed.

Requirements and skills

  • Experience using process improvement or project management methodologies
  • Broad strategic thinker, with a clear vision and direction of change management
  • Excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written
  • Successful working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience conducting process assessment/improvement meetings and workshops
  • Demonstrated ability to help leaders determine links between organizational culture, strategic initiatives, and talent
  • Excellent communication skills with the demonstrated ability to strike the right tone and select the best medium of messaging
  • A self-starter, driven by a standard of excellence
  • Familiarity with Information Security, IT general controls, IT compliance, IT Assessments and/or IT audit experience as well as knowledge and understanding of governance, risk, compliance
  • Knowledge of security and risk frameworks, standards, best practices (e.g., HITRUST CSF, NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT) preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of governance, risk, compliance technology tools, solutions, and trends to improve work results.
  • Experience working with audit firms is desired but not required
  • Strong demonstration of problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Strong ability to frame and deliver messages based on experience and level of the listener.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to actively pursue opportunities to develop and implement solutions to solve work problems. Must be able to solve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure with a highly professional demeanor.
  • Strong ability to adjust to changing priorities while multitasking effectively.
  • Self-directed and works with minimal guidance. Proactively seeks guidance when needed.
  • Self-starter with effective written and verbal communication skills along with strong critical thinking skill

Education/Certifications – Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years experience or equivalent progressive professional experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour
