Position Summary

The Product Manager, as a part of the product management team will be the focal point for the Instruments portfolio within the Calibration Solutions Division of Mesa Labs. The portfolio includes high precision calibrated metrology devices used for environmental monitoring, torque measurement, gas flow measurement, and manufacturing process monitoring. The Product Manager will report to the Director, Product Management.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Drive the product vision to increase market penetration in key target markets
• Lead through influence cross functional teams including R&D, Sales, Operations, Finance, Service teams
• Lifecycle Management for the portfolio, including end of life process
• Conduct market research, voice of customer, pricing strategy, portfolio management, product development & commercialization, competitive analysis
• Working with the Marketing and Communications department, develop and execute demand generation activities
• Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously improving, clean, well-organized and self-maintaining work environment. Work closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S knowledge and implementation.
• Follow a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for achieving high performance SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Morale) targets through a visual work environment.
• Comply with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred

Experience and Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Product Manager for global and regional geographies
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a regulated industry such as Medical Device, BioPharma, Healthcare, Production Manufacturing
• Demonstrated experience as an influencer with internal cross functional departments
• Full life cycle product management experience including launch to end of life process
• Experience growing the business with downstream initiatives

Compensation

The Total Rewards compensation for this position includes base salary, bonus, equity, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k/Match.

Salary Range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000
