Job Description
Product Manager is responsible for execution of our product roadmap for XRF Integrated Systems and Digital Services. In alignment with Evident Business Strategy and under the direction of the Director of Product Management, the Product Manager will work closely with the Downstream Marketing, regional sales teams, Engineering and our Cloud team to deliver customer solutions.
Job Duties
- Develop a deep understanding of the capabilities, operation, applications and technical design of Evident XRF instruments focusing on the integration into automated systems.
- Develop a deep knowledge of the customers’ workflow, internal roadmap, technical expectations, requirements, and overall industry trends.
- Define the functionality and features of SaaS solution and scope of proof of concept offerings with respect to XRF technology. Monitor progress via scrum meetings.
- Coordinate efforts of regional partners (internal and external) around the globe to provide complete integrated XRF solutions. Assist regional partners to identify 3rd party vendors and internal regional champions to assist with integration.
- Solicit market feedback, voice of customer and collate market needs for new features -particularly with respect to software - to guide product development and assist with Product Roadmap.
- Up to 30% domestic and international travel for relevant conferences and to support global sales force with sales, technical equipment demonstrations, key account presentations, installations and training activities.
- Assist in development and sustainment of product line resource materials including training presentations, instrument web videos, marketing documents and web site content.
- Manage the efforts of an integration engineer.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of experience in an applications, technical sales or product development environment.
- 4 year bachelor's degree, science or engineering preferred.
- Able to travel up to 30% to assigned locations.
- Able to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in an international business environment.
- Ability to work as an individual or in a team setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, self-motivated.
- Comfortable delivering presentations to large audiences as well as providing training to external and internal personnel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience with XRF technology or other spectroscopic technique is highly preferred.
- Previous experience with automated systems integration is highly preferred.
- Previous experience with handheld instrumentation is a plus.
