About this team:
The Product Operations Team’s mandate is to transform lululemon’s product operating model to reduce complexity and anything that gets in the way of clean execution of our strategies. We do this by enabling people, process, technology, and sustainment to support the Product team. We partner with Supply Chain and Enterprise Operations to bring our enterprise business strategies to life.

A day in the life:
The Product Operations Project Manager is accountable for planning, leading and executing cross-functional strategic initiatives and projects that enable business transformation across the Product organization. This person is a strategist, planner and operator that both independently and by way of stakeholder influence, delivers business critical solutions that enable us to deliver on our long-term enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage understanding of current state people, process and technology capabilities, knowledge of industry best practices and critical problems solving skills to identify business needs and define new and improved ways of working across the Product organization
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects and strategic initiatives, including creation of project charters, implementation plans and business requirements, project delivery, and go-live and sustainment efforts
  • Partner with change and training leads, product management, technology partners, subject matter experts, super users, project sponsors and other stakeholders to execute against initiative deliverables
  • Lead the planning, implementation and adoption of new and transformative business processes, including documentation of current-state processes, support in design, implementation and ongoing operation of new processes, and development of tools to monitor effectiveness of new processes
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders in creating and applying organizational design principles, frameworks & RAS models
  • Facilitate and lead workshops, and support in the delivery of updates and presentations to product leadership
  • Deliver regular project updates to Initiative Leader and other cross-functional leaders
Support Activities:
  • Support Initiative Leader and other cross-functional leaders in defining project vision, strategy, KPIs and roadmap
  • Advise project leadership on resolution of issues and risks
  • Provide strategic input into annual strategic initiative planning and AOP budgeting
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management, strategy, operations or other related field, preferably in a vertically integrated, global retail environment
  • Demonstrated experience in design and management of project documents, including project charters, implementation plans and business requirements
  • Experience in process design and architecture
  • Ability to interface with Product leadership, subject matter experts, business users and Technology partners to solve complex business problems
  • Exemplary attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Proven ability to excel in a highly collaborative environment, with a passion for cross-functional engagement, enrollment and alignment
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities, work in a high pressure environment and deliver high quality product under tight timelines
  • A team player that truly believes they are successful when the organization is successful
