Searching for a full-time baker and cake decorator who is interested in joining a dynamic team in a fast-growing company. We are looking for someone who is career-minded with a desire for achieving long-term growth in both baking skills and business development.

Our kitchen has heavy production demands that requires attention to detail, with the ability to work quickly and precisely. Must be willing to work holidays and weekends. Morning bake shifts will also be required. We are willing to train the right candidate, but we are only looking for candidates that are focused on baking as a career; no hobbists or part-time bakers. ServSafe a plus.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Assist in bakery production; baking, scaling, and mixing batters and all doughs from scratch in large quantities and ability to produce consistent results
• Maintain and track proper pars on all dry scaled and pastry items
• Manage pastry cases to ensure they are stocked with cakes, cupcakes, and pastries
• Manage and fulfill cake orders and ensure they are completed on time to bakery standards
• Maintain quality control on all products to ensure they meet bakery standards
• Team player and shop ambassador with customers
• Must follow AMIE Bakery cake guidelines and standards for all cakes
• Able to decorate cakes with buttercream decorations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have professional kitchen/baking experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 #
• Must have experience fully decorating cakes with buttercream. Fondant experience a plus but not required
• Must have the ability to read and follow recipes and standards charts
• Must be able to work early mornings and be reliable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
