Here you go! A game changer of a position! Our client, a prestigious multi-office law firm, is seeking an Attorney Professional Development Director (or Manager) for its' Century City offices.
The ideal Attorney Professional Development Director will find him/herself in a very progressive firm with innovative thinking. The Firm offers business-first solutions and handles the most complex cases and challenging transactions. With more than 90 attorneys in seven offices - they help clients at every stage of the growth lifecycle. This is a hybrid position.
What will be your responsibilities as an Attorney Professional Development Director (or Manager)?
- The Director of Professional Development will manage attorney learning and development initiatives and programs relating to the following areas of focus:
- Attorney onboarding (probably not staff onboarding)
- Integration
- Firm-wide and practice group substantive trainings
- Firm-wide and practice group skills trainings
- Continuing Legal Education
- Collaborate on training and development programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members, Knowledge Management team and Training and Development Committees in the implementation of practice area and firm-wide training curricula, and maintain and update existing and new content.
- Align training with the firm’s strategic objectives.
- Assess and build e-Learning programs.
- Create and manage training and development budgeting process and expenditures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs with collection and analysis of feedback regarding in-house and external training seminars and recommend program enhancements based on feedback.
- Be involved with Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
What you bring to the table as an Attorney Professional Development Director (or Manager):
- Passion for your work and enjoyment of the law firm environment
- Bachelor’s degree, law degree, and in addition to prior experience as a practicing attorney, at least five years of experience managing training and development activities in a law firm; or equivalent combination of education and experience in attorney development or a related field.
- Proficiency with learning management software preferred.major or mid-size firm.
- DEI experience preferred along with excellent academics
- Stable work history and proven track record

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
