Job Description:

As the Program Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis of user needs to determine functional and cross- functional requirements for a large-scale multi-tiered information system. You will assist with the establishment of standards and metrics for evaluating information systems performance and shall recommend procedures for improvement. You will construct sound logical business improvement opportunities consistent with DoD information management (IM) principles, project cost savings using COTS solutions, including analyzing and reporting on open systems architecture, acquisition, implementation, and sustainment objectives. You will implement processes for identifying, evaluating, and tracking program risks, participate in periodic meetings with configuration, and risk management team to assess and evaluate corrective action plans. You will apply continuous process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies/ principles and business modernization projects. You will be responsible for authoring, updating, and managing all required program acquisition documents, plans and policies. Administrative responsibilities include preparing briefs, presentations, and cost spreadsheets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an Active Security Clearance level Secret
• Work Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of program analyst experience
• Educations (one of the following):
  • High School and 4 years of analyst experience
  • Associate degree and 2 years of analyst experience
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge and experience
  • Systems Engineering Principles
  • Information System Analysis
  • Information System Evaluation Criteria
  • Process Improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

• DoD Information System knowledge and experience
• BS in Information Technology or Engineering

JSL has a variety of work environments depending on the specific job and not all environments will be the same for all jobs.
