This is a Full-Time 40 Hours Weekly position with the Department of Social Services Community Behavioral Health. For more information on the DSS, please visit https://dss.sd.gov.

What you will do:
- manage the Division’s indigent medication program including reviewing applications and authorizing certain behavioral
- health related medications;
- process Hardship Consideration applications;
- process, review and prepare financial forms/invoices for payment, provide assistance to staff on various data entry
- projects;
- serve as the first point of contact for callers reaching out to the Division of Behavioral Health;
- coordinate travel and lodging arrangements for staff;
- assist staff with training registrations and scheduling of meetings;
- coordinate the maintenance of office equipment, ordering of supplies and maintaining the overall efficiency of the office
- setting;
- prepare, sort and distribute mail;
- gather, prepare, and record information for meetings, reports, forms etc; and
- establish and maintain important information such as equipment inventories, staff contact information and training
- activities in various systems including excel data bases.
Licenses and Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED

This position is eligible for Veterans’ Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
