This is a hybrid role - 3 days remote and 2 days in the Malvern, PA office.
The Program Manager, HRIS plays an important role in the IT function, serving as a key partner to the Human Resources team and providing organization-wide HR IT support of both current business capabilities and future innovations. This leader strives to position CubeSmart to meet the current needs of teammates while driving new initiatives that provide an even greater teammate experience.
The role requires a strong, dynamic leader, capable of shaping the company’s strategic HR IT direction. With a philosophy of continuous improvement, the leader will establish and evolve next generation HR IT programs that align with the needs of the organization. This leader will proactively identify opportunities to ensure rigor is in place for all areas in which the company operates and invests, including all headquarters functional areas, store level operations, customer interactions, and self-storage acquisition/development opportunities.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of IT Services, this leader is expected to apply modern HR IT practices to solve business challenges and help develop a culture of urgency, productivity and high performance.
This position requires skills in business management and a proven knowledge of HR IT systems. The ideal candidate would have a diverse background and experience with Information Technology HR operations, infrastructure (cloud and on-prem), software development lifecycle, risk management, and audit compliance.

Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the HR function to set the vision and strategy for HR IT and applicable integrations strategies to promote productivity and return on investment.
- Effectively and proactively collaborate with staff at all levels of the organization to devise and implement HR solutions that leverage best in class practices and technologies that enhance the teammates’ experience.
Functional Leadership
- Serve as the liaison between IT and Human Resources.
- Provide strategic guidance for HR IT projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of solutions to meet the needs of the business.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including implementation plans and procedures, to drive business results and ensure that business-critical services are met. This may involve working with both internal IT resources and outside vendors to implement solutions.
- Stay current on technology trends.
People Leadership & Management
- Create an engaging, collaborative work environment in which all team members are aligned around the functional and operational strategy.
- Seeks opportunities to network, build relationships and meet new contacts within and outside the department.
- Coordinate the use of strategic partners involved in the development and execution of HR programs, including, but not limited to, interviewing, negotiating contracts and fees, and managing external resources.
- Provide strategic direction, coach and mentor teammates.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent related technical field.
- At least 5-8 years of experience managing and overseeing the technical aspects of HR Systems, including customizations and integrations.
- Demonstrable experience successfully working with outside vendors to implement effective solutions.
- Experience with HR applications including payroll and talent management solutions -UKG and iCIMS preferred.
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively convey complex information.
