This Project Engineer will travel to project sites as needed, typically 50% of the year. Depending on project site location, may require out of town travel for several weeks at a time for up to several months per project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform quantity takeoffs for estimating and procurement.
  • Create bid packages and contact vendors, subcontractors for pricing and perform quote comparisons.
  • Assists the Project Manager with planning, developing, coordinating, and managing project preparation and onsite construction activities.
  • Perform field work inspections and support preparation of construction documentation for safety, environmental compliance, and construction quality control activities.
  • Coordinate material and equipment deliveries.
  • Prepare and update construction schedules using critical path method tools (MS Project, etc.).
  • Perform field surveying and grade checking with laser level and GPS-based grade control system.

Essential and Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Construction Management, required.
  • 3 - 5 Years of relevent industry experience.
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications, including MS Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and Revu Bluebeam preferred.
  • Must meet company defined, pre- employment physical, alcohol/drug screen and background check.
  • Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
