As Project Manager, you will work closely with the Customer to ensure all goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are achieved with a high degree of accuracy and quality. This is accomplished by directing an agile project team of Sales, Engineers, Procurement, Service, and Finance partners. Project Managers are expected to follow a detailed process flow of every phase of the Project. The Project Manager is responsible for the organization all engineers and sub-contractors involved, orchestrating schedules of all installers, and knowing the purchasing and invoicing details for every project assigned.

The Project Manager is responsible for the organization all engineers and sub-contractors involved, orchestrating schedules of all installers, and knowing the purchasing and invoicing details for every project assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Taking care of the customer is our foremost priority; communication, delivery and follow through are imperative
  • Act as liaison to ensure all complaints, project issues, change requests, and invoicing discrepancies are promptly addressed
  • Provide a positive and consistent customer experience for all Dice Communications customers
  • Ownership of all customer related interaction and the ability to drive projects and support issues to a timely and effective close
  • Adhere to and communicate all Project Milestones
  • Responsible for the scheduling of all Engineers, Installers and/or Sub Contractors and holding them accountable to timelines
  • Manage Change Order requests
  • Utilize resources to improve profitability
  • Aid in the development and utilization of Project Metrics
  • Act as interdepartmental conduit for all customer facing, installation, and support requirements
  • Ensure deliverables are assigned and drive to completion within stated project timeframes
  • Hold the installation team accountable to meeting deadlines and updating the service order weekly regarding time reporting, and expense reporting
  • Escalate to senior management all project related items with a significant impact to project completion and/or delayed invoicing
  • Update service order with ordering details, status changes, installation dates, time frames, travel dates, etc. on a weekly basis
  • Adhere to all items within the Project Management template and checklist – thorough knowledge of each aspect of the checklist
  • Provide job cost reporting to accounting team upon completion of project

  • Orchestrate weekly project update calls with customers in relation to the installation
  • Maintain site documentation: Action Registers, Spreadsheet updates, Meeting Agendas, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Additional duties may be assigned as required

Education/Experience

Required

  • Four-year college degree 3 – 5 years of managing multiple complex projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

  • Professional certification in project management (PMP)
  • Working knowledge of Connectwise (CRM)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
