We are a property management company that has been incorporated for 44 years and counting. Serving our own properties in Downey, Bellflower, Lakewood, and Whittier.We have always prided ourselves on our small but mighty staff and keeping most stuff in house.

Our plan is to maintain the properties in livable condition and make it a pleasant environment for our residents. We try to do that extra to make it a memorable experience.

Our companies’ goals are to improve the appearance of the buildings and improve the relationship of our residents. Also, to constantly grow in acquiring new locations.

Now, C.T.U. Inc. is at a point where you need to help us take our business to the next level. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license, proper insurance, and a driving record satisfactory to the company.

Job Description

· Need to know plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and any other maintenance skills.

· Must be reliable, honest, able to work unsupervised, and to follow written and oral instructions.

· As a maintenance person you must be dependable, in good physical condition and may be asked to lift items of weight with and without assistance.

· You will be asked to work 30-40 hours a week Monday through Fridays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with the occasional call at nights or weekends.

· We supply tools, parts, and vehicles. However, you will have to manage truck inventory to ensure regularly-used supply is in stock and will be required to order parts via an in-house website.

· Complete service requests within standard completion times

· Complete all phases of apartment make-ready work,

· Inspect all common area lighting, sprinkler systems and perform ground and housekeeping tasks as needed.

· Complete all work tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

· Ability to communicate clearly with residents, co-workers, and vendors.

· Must be self-motivated and positive team member.

· Proficient in most areas of apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, floor coverings, carpentry, locks, appliances, and roofing.

· High school diploma or GED

· Previous experience with Rent Manager a plus
