Fredrikson & Byron has an opportunity for a senior paralegal, staff attorney, or appraiser in its Property Tax Department, which works with a number of high profile national, regional and local property owners on litigation-based matters relating to the assessment and taxation of a wide variety of retail, commercial, office, apartment and industrial real property.
We seek candidates with a valuation, real estate, litigation, taxation and/or finance/economics background. Excellent analytical, research, communication, and writing skills along with demonstrated ability to efficiently manage numerous simultaneous projects and deadlines and strong attention to detail are essential. A working knowledge of Excel, experience with case management and processing, including formal civil discovery, and familiarity with valuation/appraisal principles are a strong plus. For attorney candidates, admission or the ability to become admitted to practice in MN is required. Admission to practice in IA, NE, and/or WI also a plus.
