Job Overview:


Babel Street is looking for a creative and entrepreneurial Enterprise Account Executive to grow our business. The Enterprise Account Executive will have extensive experience in enterprise software sales. Our product, Rosette, applies the current revolution in AI and machine learning to provide disruptive text analytic capabilities to software systems worldwide and is used by customers as diverse US and UK Border Protection, and government intelligence organizations.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory account plans to achieve or exceed individual quota, hunting new and expansion opportunities
  • Deep understanding of the agency mission, objectives, and challenges
  • Work with system integrators such as BAE, Lockheed Martin and others
  • Work with agencies and SIs as part of the RFP and capture process
  • Manage the sales cycle from start to finish. Conduct high-level conversations with senior technical staff and executives at client companies to constantly deliver value, from lead to close.
  • Utilize solution selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close
  • Stay informed of our product line, competition, and industry trends that affect our clients and company
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and partners within your territory
  • Produce timely and accurate individual forecasts
  • Successfully execute sales activities, creating own territory plan, presentations, quotes, etc with limited supervision

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years in a quota-carrying, enterprise software sales role
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience selling enterprise software to government organizations
  • Excellent complex deal management and negotiation skills
  • Proven success in developing a territory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and very high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to CXO or line of business, successfully emphasizing business value versus product.
  • Strong ability to connect with customers by actively listening to determine their needs
  • This position is strongly preferred to be in the DC Metro area
  • Ability to work remotely and to travel more than 50% if necessary
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team in activities ranging from Proof of Concepts to program capture
