TeamDynamix seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Workflow Automation engineering team. This role is a great match for a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who seeks to holistically own our quality process, bringing functional, manual, and automation testing together. As the champion of quality, you will use your risk-based testing mindset to help prevent defects during design and implementation in addition to being excellent at finding bugs.

This role is open to Remote-US candidates. While we have an office in Columbus, Ohio, we remain 100% remote first as a company.

About the role

• Create and execute test cases
• Report and document technical issues
• Create logs to document testing cases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Work with customers to identify reproduction steps
• Work with Tier 1 support to clarify bug reports
• Test software comprehensively
• Maintain documentation of deployment status

About you

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technology, math or science
• 2 - 5+ years of software testing experience
• Experience working with an automated testing tool like Selenium or Cucumber
• Experience in a Microsoft development environment (Visual Studio, ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, etc.) a strong plus
• Experience working with/testing chatbot technology a plus
• Experience in Quality Management Software and Processes
• Proficiency in testing web applications, databases, and interfaces
• Clear communication (written and verbal) – to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases and communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders
• Creative solving of technical problems – to ensure ability to translate technical requirement test plans
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables – ensure the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly.
• Abstract thinking – to ensure ability to not conform to the norm
