Job Description: Quality Assurance Inspector
Reports to: Quality Manager

Job Overview:

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for the execution of procedures, process documentation, and continuous improvement related to the manufacturing of products at Albaad USA, Inc. This position helps to ensure that products produced are meeting all quality characteristics and product specifications it is represented to possess. The focus of this position is to implement quality processes and make suggestions for improvements by analyzing current practices.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for the execution of procedures, process documentation, and continuous improvement programs.
• Reviews and checks accuracy and completeness of quality records prior to final release.
• Performs guidance to other departments regarding compliance to procedures, and federal, state and local requirements.
• Performs evaluations, of non-conforming product through the Incident Reporting process and follows up on getting dispositions and completing the required action.
• Identifies, communicates and follows up on issues identified through the quality review of documentation
• Monitor all aspects of the production run and notify shift supervisor of any incidents that don’t meet product specifications.
• Responsible to comply with all procedures implemented at Albaad USA, Inc.
• Identifies issues regarding to any part of the manufacturing process that is not meeting specifications and communicates with appropriate designees.
• Performs inspection duties to ensure all aspects of product quality are being met.
• Assurance adherence of non-conforming product to segregation requirements.
• Recommends actions for the corrections of errors and defects.
• Support and assist with all quality initiatives.
• Develop, review and revise procedures or forms to improve quality.
• Maintains Quality databases as required.
• Ensure operators are following proper procedures and meeting customer specifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Solid understanding of Quality functions and responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and motivational skills. Experience with Microsoft office and ability to enter general data into excel spreadsheet. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Detail and deadline oriented. Ability to direct and organize personnel to accomplish tasks at hand. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must be organized and able to work in a fast paced environment. Must have high initiative and be a self-starter. Ability to work outside regular business hours if required. Associates degree or equal work experience in quality is preferred. Experience conducting audits. 1-2 years of related work experience in a GMP regulated facility is preferred.

Physical Requirements: Highly regulated, climate-controlled environment. Protective equipment such as lab coats, ear plugs and hair/beard nets required. Light to moderate lifting of equipment such as test equipment, product, kits and cases. Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. Other physical demands may require minor stooping, bending, sitting, reaching and crouching as needed to inspect.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
