Job Description:

• This position assists the Quality Assurance department with various duties.
• Main responsibilities include verification of quality information against product specifications.
• Verification of sanitation processes and finished good sampling.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for verifying product quality in a timely manner against specification, includes raw, work in progress, and finished goods product.
• Responsible for monitoring and verifying CCPs Responsible for verifying finished product meets customer specifications and internal requirements.
• Responsible for providing production with timely feedback regarding product quality. Responsible for identifying, holding, and reporting any product that does not meet specification.
• Responsible for preoperational equipment and area inspections.
• Assist with pest control monitoring.
• Assist with monitoring of GMPs. Participate in reviews of quality / food safety issues and complaints.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing with team members at all levels.
• Ability to read and understand production work orders. Ability to capture details.
• Ability to collect, recall, and identify process information. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs and walk/stand throughout shift.
• Food industry experience is preferred Fast learner, works well in a team environment, able to work unsupervised Believes customer satisfaction is a priority and therefore quality and safety must be upheld at all times Enjoys sharing quality / safety knowledge as a means of raising fellow employee’s knowledge Exhibits a how can we correct this first and then a how do we prevent this from happening again demeanor.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
