Job Description

This Co-Op position would be assigned to the Quality Compliance and Systems group working with Quality Analysts in many systems including: Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMSs), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Change Management system, Archive in a FDA regulated cGMP pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing plant. This individual will work with cross-functional teams such as MS&T, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Quality in launching women’s hormonal products improving patient’s health.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Execute the Vendor Master Data Verification Project Plan which includes verifying data in SAP/MDG related to supplier quality documents, improving the overall system, managing changes using change controls.
  • Executing the Archive remediation and restructure project which includes working with quality, engineering, MS&T, and operations on storing and archiving documents.
  • Present project proposal, results, justification, timeline and status to cross-functional teams and site management.
  • Identify and develop solutions to improving existing archive process.
  • Develop and modify standards and SOPs under quality guidance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and participate on teams to understand current and future states for better quality, safety, compliance, and efficiency outcomes.

Qualifications

Successful applicants will have the following credentials and attributes:


  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program preferably pursuing a chemical, mechanical, or biomedical engineering degree (other majors will be considered)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be required to engage with other departments within the site.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Visio, Project)
  • Works independently and receives minimal guidance.

This is a full-time Co-Op position. There is one Quality Systems position available for the Spring 2023 semester. Housing subsidy is not provided as part of this program and must be funded 100% by the student.
