Description:
Will maintain up-to-date knowledge quality procedures established. Inspection of
all fabricated parts destined for production and field service use.

Duties:
1. Inspects machined and sheet metal parts as well as special electronic components.
2. Interacts with Engineering / Manufacturing regarding non-compliance parts.
3. Source inspects major components at vendor facilities.
4. Generates rejection reports on any discrepant materials identified in the inspection process.
5. Maintains a log of all parts requiring inspection.
6. Interacts with Quality Assurance Representative in an effort to improve the inspection process.
7. Prints inspection drawings utilizing the computer.

Supervision:
Receives: Reports to the Materials Manager.

Requirements:
Education: High school graduate.

Knowledge: Interpretation of drawings and understanding the concepts of ISO-9001 is a must. Computer knowledge is required.

Experience: Three to five years inspection of complex machined and sheet metal parts within a manufacturing environment.

Other Abilities: Well organized with good interpersonal skills. Attention to detail.

Working Conditions: Incoming inspection area located next to production floor. Light
to moderate lifting.

Training: Maintain and up-to-date knowledge of policies, practices, and
procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
