Quality Program Administrator and Inspector

Summary

This is a direct hire full time position. Overtime work is not typical but may be required at times. IQ Manufacturing specializes in the machining of custom shapes for automotive and aviation industry customers. It is a fast-paced job-shop environment with short production lead times utilizing a wide variety of materials. The Quality Program Administrator and Inspector performs key roles in both the product delivery activities and in maintaining the company’s ISO certification. It is a demanding role that requires both physical dexterity and intelligent forethought.

Description

  • Performs and documents inspection of parts prior to shipment
  • Participates in surveillance and recertification audits and interfaces directly with auditors
  • Inspects parts as part of corrective action investigations
  • Maintains inspection records according to ISO and AS9001 requirements
  • Administers company’s document control system
  • Maintains and updates controlled documents as needed
  • Assists in documentation of Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement activities
  • Assists with local pickups and deliveries from time to time
  • Maintains trend analysis and key performance indicator data and charts

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read dimensional drawings and GD&T indications
  • Steady hands and good vision for close in work and inspections
  • Advanced intermediate skills in using MS-Excel and / or Google Sheets
  • Experience with MS-Outlook, Word. Share Point experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills in both paper and electronic record keeping
  • Ability to operate networked office equipment for the reproduction and storage of records
  • Communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing
  • AS9001 / ISO certification experience a plus
  • International Material Data System experience a plus
  • Scanning / CMM experience a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Pass company paid physical, drug screening and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
