The responsibilities of the Receptionist & Office Generalist include:
- Directing visitors to the appropriate office
- Transferring calls to the correct extension
- Taking and transmitting detailed messages from callers
- Communicating clearly and in a pleasant tone to all callers
- Respond to all appropriate inquiries in a polite and timely manner
- Leanr to operate office equipment and technology in an efficient manner
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
The qualifications of the Office Generalist / Receptionist include:
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to relate well to the public, in person and on the telephone
- Balance and prioritize multiple requests
- Capable and practiced in handling complex and/or multi-faceted tasks
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Computer literate and proficient with Outlook
- Ability to learn basic computer functions and new programs as needed
