Location: PNE Main Headquarters-Longview, WA
Exemption Status: Hourly, Non-exempt, Full-time
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm

Job Summary
The Recruiting Coordinator will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the company. Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC consists of four divisions, specializing in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. PNE, LLC has operating offices in multiple states.

The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for helping to promote our culture externally, ensuring we are the employer of choice. This will include networking and attending hiring events and career fairs both locally and around our remote offices.
Education and Experience Qualification
- At least 2 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
- SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles and industries.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment processes to include facilitating recruiting efforts with outside vendors.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Updates as necessary.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the company.
- Manages and monitors all job postings, external job sites, applications, and candidate questions, including management of ATS system.
- Assist managers with interview questions/process as needed.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying, start dates, orientation dates, pre-employment screening, and other pertinent details.
- Research, schedule and attend industry job related career and hiring events. Collaborates with Sales and Marketing team on these events.
- Developing new programs or internships to attract new graduates or students.
- Provides overall administrative support to the employment/recruitment area, including maintaining, processing documentation and records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Casual and modern office environment: must be able to climb stairs, lift 10 pounds, able to squat or kneel to file, and sit for long periods of time in front of a computer. External events, job sites and job fairs. Will require travel up to 25%. This in an in-office position, not remote.
