We are currently interviewing for a Regional Business Office Manager to cover an area of seven buildings from Antigo, WI to Burlington, WI. This position will have up to 90% travel and will have a company car and corporate benefits.

The Regional Business Office Manager consults and assists wtih managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the assigned facilities in their region in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to nursing facility operations, and as may be directed by the Administrator, Director of Finance, or Accountant.
Essential Functions:
- Provides leadership and oversight to the Business Office Managers within their assigned territory
- Ensures Champion Care policies and procedures are developed, maintained, and implemented consistently.
- Assists with hiring, onboarding, training, and continuing professional development of BOMs
- Oversee timely billing and collections of private pay residents
- Conducts consistent accounts receivable reviews
- Oversees input of billing and census information in PCC
- Assist with month end closing activities
- Oversees resident trust accounts (RFMS)
- Assist with Medicaid pending processes
- Assist in implementing the day-to-day functions of the accounting department
- Cover at a facility as Business Office Manager as needed
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required—bending, stooping, turning, stretching, reaching above the shoulders are involved
- Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position.
- Must be able to observe, listen and communicate effectively
- Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and outside agencies
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility
Qualifications:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high-school diploma, or its equivalent
- Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting practices
- Experience in health care accounting required.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
