Regional Manager (Southcentral Region)
Job description
- Responsible for executing on strategies that allow the bank to meet its loan and deposit goals. This would include the coordination of resources for commercial, consumer, residential and other lending, as well as meeting the bank’s funding goals for deposits to support the loan initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to personally developing new business, expanding existing relationships, market expansion through recruitment of new business development professionals to meet or exceed expectations, and ensuring that a vibrant coordination of all banking services is developing broader full relationships with clients.
- Responsible for directing all training within the community offices in their region and is responsible to create and sustain a strong relationship banking service and sales culture assuring the highest quality of financial services are provided to customers, a culture in which special requests and nonconforming financial needs of customers are routinely satisfied.
- Maintain a high profile within the region individually and through bank staff by making customer calls, serving on boards and committees and is active in community events.
- Develop and maintain a personal development program for maintaining an adequate level of knowledge in banking and management, and demonstrate personal and interpersonal behavior, attitude, judgment, communication, and initiative with customers and employees in order to ensure an acceptable degree of performance.
- Six-plus years of general banking experience.
- Four-plus years of division level supervisory experience.
- Ability to operate a personal computer and use general office equipment such as a telephone, photocopier, etc.
- Demonstrated skill in marketing and business development.
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable operational, regulatory and lending policies and procedures.
- Willingness to travel to various offices and meetings throughout the FCCB footprint.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or banking, or equivalent educational experience. (preferred)
- Position-related AIB and other specialized educational courses. (preferred)
