Position Summary

The Regional Sales Specialist provides on-site sales activity for Traditions Management Senior Living Communities to achieve occupancy goals with multi-site or individual Community specific assignments.

West Region: Indiana/Michigan (Remote - US only / Preferred Central or Eastern Time Zone)

Key Duties & Expectations

  • Execution of the Prospect Centered Sales (PCS) process to create advances, move-ins and increase occupancy at assigned Community
  • Identify & report (as appropriate) any issues or barriers to achieving occupancy goals that exist at Community level
  • Pro-actively work to overcome occupancy barriers to achieve immediate and measurable improvement
  • Proficient in all aspects of PCS and closing techniques, customer follow-up techniques, and rent readiness
  • Oversight or act in absence of Community Relations Director
  • Advanced knowledge and effectiveness with the PCS process
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with all prospects, residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public

Working Conditions (travel, hours, environment)

  • This position is salaried and may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week
  • 75% - 80% travel required with overnight stays

Candidate Profile

The successful Regional Sales Specialist is a highly motivated, self-directed individual who has demonstrated understanding and execution of the PCS process as well as the ability to increase and maintain occupancy at the Community level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-5 years sales experience in senior living
  • Must have compassion and desire to work with the elderly
  • Experience in several markets with proven successes in senior housing sales featuring multiple product lines
  • Excellent internal sales skills and ability to implement and model internal sales process
  • Expert “closer”
  • Must be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Ability to relate professionally and positively to customers, community, regional and corporate staff and to work cooperatively with other sales associates at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills-gathering input from all involved parties, reporting results, sharing successes, and candidly communicating all occupancy barriers respectfully while maintaining excellent working relationships
  • Strong computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
