A Faith-Based, nonprofit facility, Mount Carmel Care Center provides long term and short term care services in an environment committed to the Legacy of our Foundress, Mother M. We are seeking to hire a Registered Nurse - RN or Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN.

** Evening or Night Shifts available **

** Hourly pay range for RN's = $30 to $41 based on experience and shift differentials.

** Hourly pay range for LPN's = $28 to $37 based on experience and shift differentials.

** $1,200 Sign-On Bonus **

Registered Nurse - RN or Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Introduction:

Assist Unit/Shift Supervisor in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the nursing unit activities.

Registered Nurse - RN or Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Job Summary:

• Assist Unit/Shift Supervisor in problem identification and development of correction plans.
• Check all ill residents early in the shift, make periodic assessments, report changes.
• Assess resident care needs for Minimum Data Set, Resident Assessment protocols and Interdisciplinary care plans.
• Report resident condition changes and document in Medical Record.
• See that all required documentation is correct, reflects need and is up-to-date.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assess residents on admission and initiate interim care plan.
• Assist in evaluating ancillary personnel.
• Uphold Infections Control policies/practices and those of the Quality Assurance & Improvement Committee.
• Delegate duties appropriately and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Render emergency care as needed, report to supervisor, submit complete, accurate, and timely incident reports.
• Maintain accurate narcotic documentation, count, drug security, syringe count, treatment supplies.
• Assist in maintaining Medical Records.

Registered Nurse - RN or Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Proof of COVID19 Vaccination Required.
• Nursing License RN or LPN in MA.
• Nursing Home: 1 year (Preferred).
• Must be able to supervise and delegate.
