Job Summary: The NICU Registered Nurse (RN) renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Treating a variety of illnesses brought on by extreme prematurity, chromosomal abnormalities, and multiple births, our Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) allows us to care for the sickest newborns. This is a 35 bed unit with strong family centered care and single room setup.

Hours: Full-time (0.9) FTE 7pm-7:30am; Includes every third weekend and holiday track

Required:

• Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or the American Red Cross (BLS Provider or BLS Instructor)
• NRP Certification within 90 days of start date
• Two years of NICU LEVEL III experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

• Baccalaureate Degree or higher in Nursing
  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing program and graduate within five years of position start date
