Unit openings are available in the ED, Telemetry/Med Surge, ICU, Behavioral Health, and more! You should possess a nurturing and kind personality and display excellent communication skills with all role players. Short Summary:
The RN - Telemetry/Med Surgery professional employs facility policy and standards alongside professional philosophies to provide competent nursing care for patients. The role also assumes the duty of providing professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Practice in this role is founded on the principles of patient-centered care.
The role comes with 7.00 am to 7.30 pm or 7.00 pm to 7.30 am rotating shifts.
Job Requirements:
  • The Telemetry/Med Surg RN is responsible for the clinical management of the unit.
  • Assists in staff personnel management.
  • Assures satisfaction of customers (patients, visitors, physicians, and staff).
  • Actively participates in quality management and improvement activities.
  • Maintains effective communications.
  • Participates in policy and standard development.
  • Assists in assuring cost-effective unit operations.
  • Assures appropriate documentation.
  • Demonstrates awareness of self-learning needs.
  • Assures compliance with professional, regulatory, governmental, and organizational standards.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program (required)
  • BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse License in this state
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required)
  • 1 year of experience in the area of clinical expertise to which applying (preferred)
