Job Purpose
The Reporting and Analytics Director will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of reporting strategies and initiatives across an organization. The Reporting Director leads a team of reporting managers and analysts and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. The Reporting Director plays a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making, providing strategic recommendations, and guiding the overall reporting and analytics function.
Roles & Responsibilities

- Seeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations
- Supervisors & Managers should demonstrate effective safety leadership for the health and safety arrangements of all subordinates and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises
- Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and taking an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System
- Maintains service quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement
- Develop and implement reporting strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Define reporting requirements, standards, and best practices, and oversee the creation and delivery of reports and dashboards that provide insights into business performance, trends, and opportunities
- Establish and maintain data management and governance processes to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency. Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to implement data quality controls, data validation, and data integration efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, operations, IT, and other business units, to gather data, understand reporting requirements, and align reporting initiatives with business needs. Partner with stakeholders to identify data-driven insights and opportunities for performance improvement
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in reporting and analytics. Evaluate, implement, and optimize reporting tools, technologies, and data visualization platforms to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline reporting processes
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders based on data insights and analysis. Identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement, and propose actionable recommendations to optimize business performance, drive growth, and achieve strategic goals
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies related to data handling, reporting, and analytics. Implement and maintain appropriate data security measures to protect sensitive information
- Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
- Clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to the direct reports
- Must work well with others in a fast-paced team environment
- All employees have an accountability to the organization to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
- Costs incurred should be within the approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure
- Lead a team of reporting managers, analysts, and other personnel, providing strategic guidance, coaching, and mentorship. Set team goals, assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement
- Actively engage their employees to support talent management through Weatherford’s performance management process, including but not limited to talent assessments, succession planning & regular coaching opportunities
- Collaborate with Human Resources & Training Development to drive strategies for the recruitment & retention of key personnel and foster an environment that supports the attraction & retention of a high performing talented workforce
- Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills, and experience
- Employees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives, and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potential
- Demonstrates leadership, ethical behavior, and adherence to Weatherford standards at all times
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Reporting Director or similar senior leadership role, with a demonstrated track record of developing and executing reporting strategies and initiatives
- Experience in a regulated industry or global organization is a plus

- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization
- Proficiency in reporting tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, Alteryx and other data visualization platforms
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
