Endicott College is seeking a full-time Residence Life Operations Coordinator

The Residence Life Operations Coordinator (RLOC) will oversee Endicott College off campus leased housing. In addition to the day-to-day residential functions, RLOCs also serve on the Residence Life professional staff on-call rotation. The RLOC’s campus housing assignment must be the RLOC’s sole place of residence. During the summer months, the RLOC will work with Misselwood Events to oversee the implementation of external overnight programs. This will require the training and supervision of the summer operations student team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the occupancy management of assigned areas, including the coordination of check-ins, check-outs, room changes, building condition reports (BCRs), room condition reports (RCRs), roommate agreements, fire, health, and safety inspections, and damage billing
  • Aid in larger Residence Life operations such as break closings and housing selection
  • Supervise the Summer Student Operations Team. To include the training on how to perform tasks, activation of student phone, managing the student rotation schedule and overseeing the payroll
  • Management of residential linens and Access Cards (room and meal), as well as physical keys
  • Responsible for the par stock of Misselwood Events inventory to include linens, pillows, TV’s, Fans, Trash Barrels, Hangers, Toiletries
  • Serve as liaison for residential group needs
  • Check rooms/buildings for proper setup and inspect buildings prior to guest arrivals
  • Participate in the RD on-call rotation. Respond to psychological, medical, Title IX, and maintenance emergencies, and follow established college protocol. Additional on-call hours may be required for special events on short term notification, if deemed necessary
  • Serve as a conduct hearing officer
  • Serve as back up to students to be on-call and available for summer residential groups
  • Implement residential education initiatives including overseeing RA engagement programming, departmental signature programs, and collaborative initiatives
  • Supervise and support 3 study abroad resident assistants

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required and preference of candidates who are pursuing a Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or related field.
  • Previous experience in Residence Life and/or Student Affairs highly recommended.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to represent Misselwood Event, Office of Residence Life, and Endicott College in a professional demeanor in person, on the phone and in written correspondences.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and have physical stamina
  • Must be energetic and detail oriented with excellent management and organizational
