Birchwood Cottages is seeking serving individuals who have a passion and drive to provide high quality care to those living with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s, or other forms of memory loss / cognitive impairment.
Wages:
- Wages based on experience!
- Generous differentials for all weekend shifts, plus additional differentials for PM and overnight shifts
- Pay increase for CNA and med administration
Shifts Available:
- Flexible scheduling for AM, PM and Overnights
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday with generous holiday pay!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Turning / Repositioning Residents on scheduled basis
- Bathing (Bed bath, Shower, Whirlpool Tub)
- Grooming (brushing hair, teeth/dentures, shaving, etc.)
- Feeding assistance
- Documenting food / liquid intake
- Checking vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, O2, heart rate, respirations)
- Answering Resident calls
- Documenting information in RTasks system
- Cleaning (rooms, communal areas, dishes, etc.)
- Laundry (clothing and bed linens)
- Stocking supplies
- Toileting (pericare, changing briefs, etc.)
- Dressing assistance
- Medication administration (training provided)
- Transferring (to/from bed/toilet/wheelchair/standing position)
- Simple wounds
- Stocking Resident rooms with supplies received
- Customer Service (Communicating with Residents, Third Party Vendors, Families)
- Annual trainings (paid time)
- EduCare trainings (paid time)
- Tasks delegated by RN
