JG, Development, Inc. residential home builders and remodelers who specialize in new home construction, home improvement and remodeling services, is seeking Residential and Commercial Construction Laborers. This position will assist the carpentry team in order to construct buildings and other structure using various materials and methods.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist onsite Carpenters with project related work as directed;
• Prepare, move material and maintain a clean job site as directed by onsite Foreman or Carpenter;
• Operate drills, saws, hand, power and air tools in a safe manner;
• Ability to perform tasks on all areas and aspect of construction projects by climbing ladders, working with tools, lumber and materials and lift and manipulate objects as necessary;
• Complete directions on all projects to assist in meeting schedules and customer objectives;
• Ability to organize assigned tasks for completion in the most efficient manor, alone or with help when required;
• Relay critical information (descriptions both written and mathematical) to assist in constructing structures using materials and equipment;
• Maintain top level quality of all aspects of projects as it relates to field production.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to work in a team environment and have a high standard of professionalism;
• High accuracy in work, attention to detail;
• Must be able to follow verbal and written direction;
• Knowledge of how to or willing to learn how to operate tools and equipment;
• Knowledge of job safety as well as the ability to complete safety orientation;
• Excellent dexterity and physical strength are required;
• Demonstrated problem-solving and people skills.
• Clean driving record with the ability to be covered on company’s insurance is required.
• Successful completion of background check.
