The Program Manager is responsible for the oversight of programming in our 24/7 group homes. This involves the direct supervision, coaching, development and oversight of personnel matters, physical site maintenance/quality assurance, licensing/certification requirements, budget expenditures & collateral relationships. This is a full time position with an on call rotation.
Qualifications
  • Have a valid (non-probationary) IL driver’s license & vehicle with insurance; while being insurable under Broadstep policy
  • 1-3 years’ experience working with individuals diagnosed with major Mental Illness or Development Disabilities
  • At least two years of supervisory experience
Duties
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the residential team; in addition to providing orientation and ongoing education to staff
  • Participate in program development. Execute agencies strategic plan and communicate the program mission
  • Oversee the recruitment/hiring, coaching and development of all staff. Provide ongoing education and staff development to the Front-line Residential Specialist and group home supervisors. Participate in or manage investigations of sensitive issues
  • Lead bi-monthly supervisory meetings for your identified region of homes
  • Participate and or provide guidance to the residential supervisor psychiatric medication reviews, ensuring necessary follow through with recommendations
  • Responsible for managing group home expenses and staffing budgets
