SUMMARY

Manage and coordinate custodial/maintenance and rehabilitation operations at the rest parks. Assist in production, training and supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate rehabilitation custodial/maintenance requirements of the facilities on a weekly basis with the staff.
  • Monitor and supervise staff to ensure the fulfillment of their responsibilities.
  • Provide liaison to relevant program staff for facility and client programs. This includes behavior modification, incentive techniques and vocational consultation.
  • Oversee and ensure quality of custodial/maintenance standards as directed by the Accountant.
  • Establish and monitor facility safety programs. Provide for continued staff/client in-service training.
  • Establish and monitor all cleaning programs for the facility. Provide inventory and dispensing of facility janitorial supplies.
  • Assist Executive Director in preparation of capital expenditure budgets including production requirements, facility and safety.
  • Hold meetings as needed to maintain supervisor daily goals and objectives accomplishments. Establish timelines/requirements for corrective measures.
  • Assist Executive Director in establishing client/production time studies and wage computations.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of shipping and receiving materials. Provide adequate and safe storage of materials.
  • Interact with V.R. Counselors as to the receiving and giving of all pertinent information concerning needs of recipients as it relates to job performance. Assist in monitoring of information programs.
  • Develop proposals for cost savings in production.
  • Hire and provide orientation of all new rest park personnel. Conduct annual evaluations of staff supervised.
  • Ensure relevant state agency standards are adhered to and provide as needed reports, surveys on delegated information gathering.
  • Maintain upkeep and repair of all custodial/maintenance equipment.
  • Look for ways to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Perform attendance duties on an on-going basis as well as other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
