We are currently looking for Part Time Servers. Benefits would be available should you average 30 hours per week.

Position Summary:

The Server will be primarily responsible for the service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items. Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness. Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness. Takes the order and inputs the order into the point-of-sale system to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order. Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests. Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service. Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods.

2. Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the point-of-sale system.

3. Transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.

4. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

5. Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.

6. Breakdown, clean and set-up tables and food stations.

7. Comply with all property policies and standards

8. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Minimum Knowledge:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Must speak, read and write proficient English

Formal Education and Job Related Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent and/or one – two years related experience and/or training

License, Registration, and/or Certification required: You will be required to take an alcohol training and certification course

Physical Environment:

Work Schedule: Must be available a minimum of 4 days per week

Occupational Risks: There are inherent risks associated with the restaurant setting and may be required to take a safety training seminar.

Ergonomics Risks: The position has ergonomic risks that must understood i.e., Typing, lifting, carrying trays, etc.

Safety: Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
