We are looking for the best possible talent for our housekeeping departments! We have an open position for either part-time or full-time housekeeping at the beautiful new Best Western Plus, Appleton!

Currently hold a housekeeping position? We'll BEAT your current pay by a minimum of $1/hour! We're looking for the best team of people, to build with us and our growing portfolio.

This position requires availability for day shift, with a 9am start time, and a minimum of two weekends per month. This is a hands-on position, and requires both working alongside our housekeepers and being available for assistance, support and guidance, and also being able to work independently.

Job Summary

As a room attendant, you would be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guestrooms and public areas throughout the hotel, assisting other housekeepers day-to-day activities, providing our guests with clean and comfortable accommodations, all while delivering outstanding service and abiding by all brand standards.

Housekeeping tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning and knowledge of guestrooms, public areas, and laundry facilities

- Making of beds in a professional manner with clean linens

- Replenishing room supplies including but not limited to: toilet paper, tissues, shampoos, etc.

- Vacuuming and dusting rooms

- Cleaning of guest bathrooms including but not limited to: toilets, showers, sinks, floors, etc.

- Maintaining of a neat and stocked supply cart and storage facilities

- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping, restocking, straightening and emptying trash in the hotel lobby, breakfast area, pool, fitness center, stairways, hallways, elevators and outside patio areas

- Properly handling, labeling and storing cleaning chemicals and cleaning supplies

- Deep cleaning of guest rooms and public areas as assigned

- Bringing maintenance/hazardous issues to management’s attention

- Consistent bending, lifting, standing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, etc. throughout day

- Stripping rooms of dirty linens and garbage

- Any other duties as assigned by management, including ordering, inventory, screening potential new hires and hotel inspections
