We are currently searching for hard-working Class A commercial drivers to operate our late model year tractors and trailers as bulk grocery store delivery drivers (DD Route Operator).

What will I be doing?
At HP Hood, our trusted team of Class A Drivers in this role are responsible for safely delivering products to our various grocery stores. The normal duties include pushing and pulling stacks of milk; unloading trucks using a milk hook; delivering a product to a designated location at the customer account; loading empty cases into the trailer and more.

- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull up to 240 lbs. frequently
- Basic math skills
- 0 -1 year of commercial driving experience
- Current, valid CDL A
- Reading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors.
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the past 4 years or a driving school training certificate. Graduation from an accredited truck driving school will count as 1 year of the required experience.
- No major preventable accidents of any personal or professional in the last 3 years.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle record review.
- No DUI in the last 10 years.
What shifts are our shifts?
- Rotating 5-day work week schedule (To include Saturday/Sunday)
- Start times: 2:00am
- Route: Delivering to various grocery stores
- Stops: 5-6 stops per day
- Home every night
- A person in this role must be able to work weekends (including Sundays) and holidays when scheduled.
- Overtime available contingent upon business needs.
