Royalty and Accounts Manager for large independent music publisher responsible for evaluation and high volume data processing of quarterly statements from the major record companies, print publishers, film and television studios and all streaming service platforms. Manager provides support for the end of the period organization of statements, payments and reports; helps evaluate and electronically process miscellaneous income, prepares and processes record company audit payments, and once a year 1099 and 1042 processing.

  • Oversee all aspects of domestic royalty processing, handling statement processing, reconciliations, adjustments, payments and advances
  • Liaison with record companies and source licensees
  • Provide leadership to the royalty organization, implementing and overseeing policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate semi-annual accountings
  • Answer client inquiries, enabling high service levels to our writers, business partners & affiliates
  • Develop and support income tracking initiatives to identify and increase collections of revenue for clients, in partnership with tracking team members
  • Interpret contracts and implement royalty and accounting provisions within our rights management system
