The Multinational Commerce team leads the company’s global ecommerce, omnichannel and multinational efforts including solutions strategy, go-to-market design and sales execution.
In this Outbound Sales Development role, you will help establish relationships with new multinational companies and qualify leads to build Global Payments’ pipeline. You get excited about engaging with prospects to better understand their payment growth goals and are adept at independently identifying high value opportunities. You are capable of managing early sales funnel activities and delivering value in complex situations.
Finally, you enjoy building - you like to actively participate in the development of the demand generation and sales process, the articulation of our value proposition, and the creation of tools and assets.

Day to day, this is what you’ll be doing:
Identify high-potential clients, vertical and markets, and develop and execute outbound strategies to bring them to Global Payments
Develop and lead outbound campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified opportunities
Present product information to potential customers once you have identified their needs
Execute ‘plays’ or designed touchpoints in a customer journey through cold emails, calls, chats and social media
Launch and test new outbound lead generation channels and determine how best to scale them
Respond to all inbound inquiries from new and previously engagement prospects, qualifying these opportunities and engaging the relevant global sales team
Establish yourself as a trusted and contributing member of the team in order to progress into your next role
This is who you’ll be working with:
A senior member of the sales team with 10+ years experience, who will be your manager
A great team of other sales executives across the US, Canada, UK and Asia
Colleagues across Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing, etc.

1-3 years work experience (sales and/or technology experience is a plus), with a track record of top performance
A passion for connecting with people and solving problems
Resilience and perseverance - you’ll be handling objections and rejections on a daily basis
Commitment to excellence, taking personal pride in the work you deliver
Excellent listening and communication skills (written, phone, video, in person) and are comfortable speaking to anyone
Experience with Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, Google Suite, Asana and/or LinkedIn a plus
Self-starting attitude and an ability to operate in a growth environment
Ability to travel up to 10%
