Role Description
We are looking for a results-driven Senior Sales Engineer to support our key accounts directors at our most important client accounts, large WISPS’s. These accounts make up the highest percentage of division income, and the Senior Sales Engineer must build and maintain a strong relationship with the technical staff at these clients. This role will be the lead point of contact for all technical key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the division to ensure deadlines for the client are met, help the client succeed, and drive revenue for the division. These large WISPs are a strategic focus as their busines is relevant to major government funded broadband programs.
Job Assignment
- In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Key Accounts Directors to win and close new business opportunities:
- Primary role will be in support of Mimosa engagements
- Interface with various other departments including Engineering, Technical Support, Pre-sales, Operations, Product Management, and Project Management ensure maximum efficiencies across the organization.
- Review and assist Pre-sales with their designs.
- Ensure satisfaction of customers while achieving desired results for the organization.
- Works to understand and keep informed about technical features and functional attributes of solution offerings.
- Provides technical guidance and training to Sales team and customers, as required.
- Deal with customers’ on-site/conference calls regarding technical and other account issues, as required.
- Conducts on-site surveys, as required.
- Provides information captured during pre-sales phase to Project Management when PO is received, and PM is assigned.
- You will be required to provide technical knowledge and work with the solutions teams
- You will be based in North America with access to major airports
What you will need to succeed:
- Must have Strong acquaintance with the Large Wisp community in NA
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Goal-oriented, organized team player
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- In-depth understanding of division key clients and their position in the industry
- Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Four to five years' previous work experience in Sale Engineering, technical support, key account support, or relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
- Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software (SFDC) and the Microsoft Office Suite,.
- Strong communications skills, with ability follow-through on client requirements
- Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account
- Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
Travel
- The ability and willingness to travel extensively, subject to business and customer needs.
