Job description
The Salesforce Administrator 1 will continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback and designing best practice solutions. This position is responsible for all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority. The Salesforce Administrator 1 should be comfortable liaising with users and learning new business processes to translate them into technical solutions.

Essential Functions:
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
- Provides all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
- Review end-user support tickets
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
- Setup and maintains dashboards, reports, forms, templates, custom objects, object relationships, fields, and layouts
- Monitors user adoption
- Provides user training and creates training materials
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in Information Technology or up to two years of experience required
- 2 or more years of hands-on administration experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud required
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce (i.e., Sales Cloud, FSL, CPQ, Service Cloud, CRM, Marketing Cloud) required
- Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and interpersonal skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio preferred

Technical Expertise
- Previous Salesforce.com administrative experience and insight into leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, contracts, products, and Chatter is preferred
- A proactive attitude to platform enhancements
- A desire to implement best practice solutions
- Creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Training end users and creating training materials
- Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
