Position Summary
A Sanitation worker is a member of a cleaning crew whose duties are to clean and sanitize the food beverage plant to meet Quality Control and Bacterial Standards imposed by Suja Life customers and applicable governmental agencies, such as the FDA.
Schedule:
1st shift: Sunday-Thursday 5:00am-1:30pm
2nd shift: Sunday-Thursday 1:00pm-9:30pm
3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday 9:00pm-5:30am
Schedules are subject to change per Production needs, all shifts start Sunday -Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize the plant quickly and efficiently
- Work around large processing equipment in which chemicals will be used to complete the sanitation process.
- Must be able to work as a team along with other members of the crew
- Assist in transporting heavy equipment with forklifts, pallet jacks, carts or other devices
- Maintain and store records as needed
- Hand sweep or shovel debris and rubbish
- Gather and empty trash containers as requested
- Perform heavy manual labor as scrubbing, brushing, water rinsing, using foamers, etc.
