This position will report to the Meal Preparation business that is now known as Winland Foods, Inc owned by Investindustrial. Position Overview:

Under direct supervision, performs a variety of duties to maintain the necessary degree of cleanliness and sanitary condition of production equipment within the plant to assure the highest possible attainable level of product safety and in meeting government inspection requirements. The sanitor role encompasses a variety of different master sanitation duties. These duties include but are not limited too; sanitation effectiveness, environmental monitoring, janitorial, custodian, and external facility/grounds tasks. Adherence to regulatory standards to sustain a food safe grade facility is a requirement. Sustaining a sanitary workplace in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
· LOTO (Lock out Tag Out)

· Ability to titrate chemicals

· Sufficient understanding of safety data sheets (SDS)

· Confined Space entry

· Ability to mix cleaning reagents

· Ability to mix sanitizing chemicals

· Operate floor scrubber

· Operate a scissor lift

· Structural equipment cleaning

· Maintain and understand Master Sanitation Schedule for area of responsibility.

· Use and understand the mixing of chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing equipment.

· Perform all sanitation cleaning duties as assigned.

· Periodically work in confined areas.

· Perform general structural cleaning.

· Janitorial duties as assigned.

· Responsible for training and facilitating LOTO procedures as required.

· Perform all other tasks assigned.
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Ability to work in hot temperatures and high humidity.

· Ability to learn how to operate sanitation equipment (e.g. floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, forklifts, pump sprayers, pressure washers).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour
