Van Trans is immediately hiring School Bus Drivers for our Bronx location.
What We Offer: FLEXIBILITY
- Split-Shift- Mornings and Afternoons.
- Use the mid-day time as YOU need it.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- FREE Training to prepare for CDL Permit.
- $750 bonus when you train with us and receive your CDL.
- $2,500 Sign-on-Bonus for any hired fully licensed NY CDL Driver who has an A, B or C license with P & S endorsements.
- $20.50/hr for Van
- $21.00/hr for School Bus.

Job Summary
- Operate school buses to transport authorized passenger to and from school programs safely and promptly following prescribed route(s).
- Assess traffic and road conditions, and monitor student behavior and other factors as necessary.
- Follow all state and federal traffic laws while operating a vehicle. Adhere to DOT and state safety and district requirements and standards while operating a yellow school bus.\Maintain proper CDL and state school bus certifications, including adhering to state and federal guidelines regarding criminal, medical, drug test, and driving records.
- Assist passengers onto and off the vehicle when necessary.
- Perform daily pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks as required by company standards and state guidelines.
Job Requirements Drivers must be at least 21 with 1 year driving experience
- NYS CDL A, B with P & S endorsements
- Must have a driver’s license to enter CDL permit training (we train you!)
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
